Tee Off On Leukemia Golf Event:

Firestone Country Club, South Course will attract many generous golf enthusiasts for the annual Tee Off On Leukemia event on Thursday June 6th 2013. The players, together with their families, support finding a cure for leukemia and other blood cancers. Over 894,500 people are living with these diseases to date.
A single mission… to find a cure for leukemia and other blood cancers. Tee Off On Leukemia’s success is driven by the personal experiences of those whose lives have been affected by leukemia and other blood cancers, and who are determined to bring about new treatments and, most importantly… a cure.
Limited to 10 foursomes. $400 per person, $1600 per foursome.
Six Courses for a Cure:

Six Courses for a Cure is the result of the creative genius of Roger Thomas, Executive Chef at the Sheraton Suites, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Pete Olsen, a partner in Purple Feet Distributing, located in Macedonia, Ohio.
After meeting Gerry and Marti Cowden at a family celebration and hearing the story of their daughter Meredith and her courageous battle against leukemia, Roger and Pete suggested the idea of a wine dinner to benefit the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation.
Both Pete and Roger have hosted and participated in many wine dinners to raise funding for charities and worthwhile causes in northeast Ohio, specifically the Akron area where they are located and the Cowden’s live.
Six Courses for a Cure with Roger Thomas at the helm as the coordinating chef will be the second scheduled fundraiser of the year for the Cowden Foundation. This exciting event will be held in the beautiful 300 seat capacity ballroom at The Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls on Friday, August 9th, 2013.
